Cathie Rae is amongst the cream of quality musicians on the current, vibrant Scottish jazz scene and comes highly recommended by jazz legends Sheila Jordan, Jay Clayton and Mark Murphy amongst others. A member of Scotland's only jazz dynasty, she grew up hearing Nancy Wilson, Bob Dorough, Shirley Horn, Nat King Cole, Chet Baker and many others who remain influences on her music today. Performing regularly throughout the UK, she has 3 critically acclaimed independently released CDs: "Tribute to Chet Baker", "Time Out" and "Flow" and a reputation for quality, class and musicality amongst musicians and promoters.
